Ardys and Gene Goodine
Our Story

Gene and Ardys Goodine, residents of LaGrange and married for over twenty years, have always had a deep love for animals, their welfare and care.

They are often asked, “How can you do what you do?” Well, just like the pet owners who come to them in a time of need, they cry some. They also care, listen, console, offer closure and peace of mind.

Later, they hear, “I am so glad you are here and offer the service you do, it made my loss easier to deal with.  Thank you.”

The Goodine's know the responsibility of caring for a family pet does not end with the pets' passing. They handle your pet as if it were their own. They will help you remember, memorialize and honor your companion pets and thank you for putting your trust in their family business.

The couple's interests include the outdoors. Gene enjoys fishing, being in the woods, and metal detecting. Ardys has been a horse and cat lover her entire life.

Ardys' sister, Bonnie Weymouth Anderson, returned from Ohio after raising a family of her own. Ashes to Ashes Pet Crematory is her second career where she focuses her energy and attention to detail as part of the team, providing compassionate end-care services for Maine pets.
